It all began with a fortuitous encounter in London, where Luis Fernando Vélez learned the art of brewing a perfect cup of coffee from his friend, Alejandro Rengifo. Inspired, Luis Fernando returned to Bogota, Colombia, and introduced the city to specialty coffee at his small gift shop, “Amor Perfeito.” What started as a humble endeavor in 1997 soon became a renowned coffee destination.
